Founded in 1981, Thai Kee is a family run supermarket founded by brother and sister duo Roland and Eng Trinh. The team of siblings started with a small grocery store in Western Sydney's suburb of Cabramatta and have always kept customers at the core; providing the best selection of products from all around Asia.

In 1992, brothers King and Chi worked with the family to move Thai Kee to Sydney's city centre where they took up a space on Sussex Street, underneath Golden Century, an institution for Chinese cuisine in Sydney.

Barely five years on and Thai Kee had already outgrown the space; in this year, Thai Kee moved above Paddy's Market where you know it today and merged with independent supermarket group, IGA.

For over 30 years, we have proudly served our customers with the best produce and selection of products in Sydney's Asian food market and we truly believe that "if you can't find it in Thai Kee, you can’t find it anywhere”.

Being a household name in the Asian community, we are so excited to be working closely with renowned chefs from Australia to even further expand our offering. With over 10,000+ products in store, be it Asian or Western, we are sure you will find something to your liking!
